Hannah's candid stories of life as a missionary and nurse midwife are excellent. I laughed and cried as I read of her adventures. I enjoyed her halarious telling of ridding the mission house in Nicaragua of the rat, and chasing the dog from the Clinic in Hondouras. When I saw that Hannah was writing her book, I knew I would have to have it.
This is a true story and is a recollections of a Missionary Nurse. Each chapter is generally a story of some of her encounters while serving as a Missionary Nurse/Midwife in Costa Rica and Nicaraugua. It's an interesting book with some cute stories and some horrifying stories of life in the third world countries. She also has a chapter at the end for those who may be considering going into missionary work. A good read.

What an amazing book. It was hard to put it down. Lots of reading and lovely but sometimes sad pictures ( the truth of delivering babies in poor third world countries) It is really amazing to hear Hannah' s stories of delivering babies and mending wounds and broken hearts serving Jesus. I plan to donate my copy to my church's school, hoping it will plants seeds in the hearts of young women to go into nursing and do mission work.I like her sense of humor and many times laughed out loud. I highly highly recommend this book.
